Last night we had a goodbye party for Nina and Jane, our international students. They both fly home today. Both also have birthdays in the summertime, so Em made them a cake and put the Chinese symbol for “love” in the center for Nina and wrote “We will miss you” in Vietnamese around the edge for Jane. translation of “We will miss you” was not exactly correct.) It’s been a year full of growth and learning for all of us, and I am excited to see how God will use it in all of our futures. The Underwood family loves you, girls, and we hope and pray you have a great summer with your families.
